FAQ For Writers

What can BookZillion.com do for me, the writer?

In today's crowded marketplace, BookZillion.com is a showcase site that can help you publicize your books.

How does BookZillion.com work?

You upload the first pages of your book--or any pages you choose. It's easy (really)! Add book description/bio, reviews, cover image, and a link to your own Web site if you have one. (See Upload Instructions.)

Not comfortable with computers? If you would like us to help you upload your work please send an email to .

Lots of places upload authors' pages. Why is BookZillion.com different?

Because we are an opt-in site. If you're lucky, your publisher may feature your first pages on its Web site, or Amazon or Barnes & Noble or other booksellers may display your first pages on their sites. Or they may not. But we are a comprehensive site open to every traditionally published author. That's the difference.

What is a "traditionally published" author?

An author whose book is published by a traditional publisher: one who pays the author. Traditional publishers do not ask the author to pay them. "Vanity" publishers, subsidy publishers, "self-publishers," or POD are not traditional publishers. For further information, see the excellent "Writer Beware" link on the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America site (http://www.sfwa.org).

Will BookZillion.com sell my books for me?

No. BookZillion.com will display your books for readers to browse. Then they can buy them wherever they choose.

My first book is out of print. Can I still list it on BookZillion.com?

Of course. You can list all your books, both in print and out. Many writers sell their out of print books from their own Web sites. If you have your own site you can add a link to it on BookZillion.com.
